The main focus of this photograph is the most central positioned blue rose. It is the sharpest in the photograph as it is a macro shot which leaves the majority if the other roses slightly out of focus. The photograph has been lit using a soft natural light which leaves everything but the flowers in shadow. The top outer edge of the photograph is the most highlighted part as this is most likely where the light source is positioned. This means the photo has been taken during the day. There are lots of curved lines in the photograph to make the petals of the roses look more defined as well as this these lines are extremely fine. The main repetition in this photograph is the blue colour of the roses but other than this there is none. There is of sorts a circle shape to the flowers but it is not carried on into the petals. It is a shallow photograph as all of the flowers are near to the surface. However there are more deeper sunk roses. It is a depth left by spacial illusion.
